Log Shelf

This is a cool picture mount / book shelf I made from an oak log. I left the bark undisturbed because it looks cool. There is even some beautiful pale green lichen growing on the bark. It attaches flush to the wall using two dovetailed slots cut into the back that slide on to any screwhead, pretty sturdy. I made the picture frames a few years ago using some old barn doors. The red paint is original.
